It is not a dealership, rather a network-based conduit to assist buyers and sellers of classic cars to place - or acquire - collectable cars through a range of appropriate options: direct private transactions or via cooperative networking with the classic motor trade and auction networks - domestic or international.

Vickery Lane’s negotiable fee-based service - to engage in the search and ultimate connection of buyer and seller - is backed by quality graphic and video presentation.

WHO is Vickery Lane:

Established in 2022 by long-time South Australian enthusiast, Tony Parkinson and his son David. A collector, enthusiast and historic racer, Tony Parkinson has an enviable network of contacts - private and trade in Australia and overseas. With the sale of his wine business in 2022, he has turned his focus to greater ‘hands on’ involvement in what has long been a hobby - classic and collectable road and racing cars. Tony’s passion is driven by history, by provenance and by rarity.

David Parkinson is an award winning director, cinematographer, designer and photographer with a passion for classic automobiles - his work includes several short films for Petrolicious and a rapidly growing portfolio of imagery on every aspect of the classic car genre.

ENGAGEMENT with Vickery Lane:

Our approach is personalised. Each engagement is negotiable with fees and time commitment tailored on a case-by-case basis. We pledge transparency. Transactions are directly between buyers and sellers.

Vickery Lane will declare its involvement and fees or commissions remunerated. Production tasks - photography, video, detailing, transport costs and agreed out-of-pocket costs will be billed direct to seller or buyer as agreed.

Vickery Lane's contemporary studio space - less than an hour from Adelaide - houses our small, private collection of classics and provides a perfect setting for the photographic capture of your treasured motor. Equally, we will will seek out locations convenient to your base to shoot every necessary detail of cars on offer.
